Hi. My name is Lisa Koo. I am a culinary school professor and dietitian. I enjoy teaching people how to make healthy recipes that are fun, easy to prepare, good for you (most of the time) and taste great!
I started my career as a clinical dietitian but eventually found my way into culinary school as I wanted to bridge food more closely with nutrition. I teach nutrition to culinary students and also organize cooking classes for kids at summer camps and after school programs around Toronto. I truly believe that education and prevention are key when it comes to nutrition and health.
This website is a representation of the kind of work I do, the recipes and kitchen projects that I am currently working on and where I will be teaching next. Hopefully I will see you at a cooking class sometime soon!
