Job Summary:

The Insurance Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting our roofing projects by working closely with clients, insurance adjusters, and our project management team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in the insurance supplement process, specifically within the construction or roofing industry, and possess a solid understanding of insurance policies and claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze insurance policies and claims to identify opportunities for supplements.
• Prepare detailed documentation, including estimates and scope of work, to submit for insurance supplements.
• Communicate effectively with clients and insurance adjusters to negotiate and advocate for necessary supplements.
• Maintain organized records of all supplement requests and follow up as needed to ensure timely processing.
• Collaborate with the project management team to align on project timelines and expectations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in insurance regulations that may impact supplement processes.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the supplement process to enhance client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience as an insurance specialist, preferably in the roofing or construction industry.
• Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and related costs.
• Proficient in Xactimate software and Google Suite.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
