Window and Door Installer $46,000 - $63,000 Annually Paid Weekly Full Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Aflac, and 401k with company match) Reports To: Window Service Manager FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt What we're looking for : If you love helping people, solving problems, and getting compensated for being a team player, then Huskey Building Supply might have a job for you. We rely on skilled window and door installers and service technicians to help run our millwork team, and to deliver great service to our customers. Why be a Window and Door Installer : We'll enroll you in Huskey's Warrior Certification Program and help you earn your Window Service Technician certification-something our competitors do not offer; we'll teach you a marketable skill that will get you off to a great start in the construction trades. What you'll be doing as a Window and Door Installer: Measure door and window glass accurately to ensure ordering accuracy. Remove and install window glass with safety and quality as your top priority. Transport and deliver window and door products safely to job sites. Ability to move materials up to 100 pounds, frequently and safely. Comfortable moving up and down extension ladders, frequently and safely. Acquire the skills to properly install exterior doors and sliding glass doors. Acquire the skills to properly operate tools of the trade. Acquire the skills to properly apply best practices of the trade. What we'll expect in a Window and Door Installer: A mannered person of honesty and integrity who can take direction from others. A team player who first and foremost gets customer service. A problem solver with sufficient tenacity to own problems and see them through to satisfactory resolution. A candidate who loves building, construction, and the like, but who also has interests and hobbies outside the construction realm. A candidate with an affinity for field work-we work in new construction; expect to get dirty working in hot-in-the-summer and cold-in-the-winter environments when doing installs and or repair work at locations all over middle Tennessee. Basic computer literacy and the ability to navigate on table devices like iPads, etc. Good oral and written communications skills, and a zeal for documenting what you do. A driver's license and insurability for purposes of driving company service vehicles. Adaptability in the face of evolving work requirements.
