STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:

The Research and Project Management Volunteer at Sun Life Health plays a crucial role in supporting the Education Department, Quality Improvement initiatives, and Project Management efforts within the organization. The volunteer will work closely with department leads and managers to assist in research, project coordination, and follow-up activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Research Support:
   • Assist in literature reviews and research activities related to healthcare education, quality improvement, and project management.
   • Compile and summarize research findings for use in project development and decision-making.
2. Project Coordination:
   • Assist in the coordination and implementation of education programs, quality improvement initiatives, and projects.
   • Help maintain project schedules, track progress, and follow up on action items.

1. Data Collection and Analysis:
   • Collect and organize data for use in project evaluations and quality improvement efforts.
   • Assist in data analysis and preparation of reports and presentations.
2. Administrative Support:
   • Provide general administrative support to the Education Department, Quality Improvement, and Project Management teams.
   • Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform all other related duties as assigned or requested.
• Will adhere to all Sun Life core values and work to Sun Life's Mission and Vision.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Enrolled in high school or above
• Interested in medical field
