About the Role

Working at the heart of a fast-paced fashion business, a Visual Merchandiser will create an environment that inspires customers to explore their personal style. This role supports and guides the store team to deliver an inspiring and exciting Customer Experience aligned with the H&M brand and values. The Visual Merchandiser actively drives sales and is responsible for implementing the Visual Identity. They meet customer and colleague expectations at all times and adhere to all H&M procedures and standards.

This position reports to the Store Visual Manager (based on volume) or the Store Manager.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

1. Sales and Profit : Set garment presentation on the Sales Floor & Windows according to the Commercial Handbook. Collaborate with the Department Manager to identify additional commercial opportunities within brand guidelines and execute floor moves based on these decisions.
2. Fashion Knowledge : Stay updated with current fashion trends; share, inspire, and educate the store team on seasonal trends, upcoming campaigns, and brand standards.
3. Customer Service : Ensure customer expectations are met through direct service and support the store in delivering an excellent customer experience.
4. Visual Store Operations : Maintain visual standards through implementation of the Commercial Handbook, ensure high-quality garment presentation, manage fixture placement, and launch sales campaigns timely.
5. People and Development : Support team training and development, evaluate visual and commercial skills, and identify future talent.
6. Communication & Legal Compliance : Ensure all visual and store communications comply with local legislation and company policies.
7. Security & Safety : Follow health & safety routines, security procedures, and ensure store safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• 1-2+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Ability to lift over 20 pounds and work long periods standing, bending, and climbing ladders
• Comfortable using hand and power tools for display setups
• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends; willingness to travel as needed

Hourly, Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $19.66 - $21.63 per hour
