What You’ll Do As an Anesthesia Veterinary Assistant at MVA, you will play a key role in supporting our surgery department, helping our technicians and veterinarians provide rapid, high-quality care. In this position, you will:
  • Assist nurses, anesthesia coordinators, and veterinarians with daily patient care
  • Support the induction, intubation, and monitoring of anesthetized patients
  • Aid in clipping, prepping, and positioning surgical patients
  • Assist in placing IV catheters, running bloodwork, and performing diagnostics
  • Clean, organize, stock, and maintain hospital equipment and inventory
  • Provide compassionate and professional client service
  • Accurately update patient records and communicate changes to the veterinary team
  • Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment , assisting across multiple departments

Anticipated Schedule


This is a full-time position with the following available schedules: 

  • Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Please note that some holidays are required. 

Compensation

  • Starts at $17.50/hr
