Job Description

Overview Join to apply for the Veterinary Practice Manager role at Hometown Veterinary Partners . The Practice Manager at Hometown Veterinary Partners is a member of the hospital team and reports directly to the Partner DVM or the President. The Practice Manager supports our core beliefs of Culture, Collaboration and Community. The Practice Manager provides a variety of coordinating, supervisory, and technical functions within the Hospital, including veterinary hospital administration, execution of operational plans, training of staff, ordering and stocking supplies and equipment, staffing, safety and security, and sustainability of the hospital. This role is an hourly non-exempt position with variable hours based on hospital needs. The role typically involves a minimum of 32 hours per week and up to 40 hours per week, with oversight by leadership. Responsibilities Support a positive, collaborative work environment and develop medical staff through hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing staff development. Onboard new team members and train hospital teams on workflows and systems. Implement customer retention and engagement strategies to provide a positive and exceptional client experience. Provide input and ideas for continual improvement of the practice environment for the care team, patients, and pet parents. Guide and utilize exceptional support staff; ensure quality, safety, and health initiatives are followed. Maintain up-to-date licenses in accordance with state or federal guidelines and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Assist with budgeting and financial sustainability of the hospital and support long-term growth. Skills & Abilities Entrepreneurial mindset with motivation for excellence and continuous learning.
