Prepare and install upholstery materials, including wood, foam and material. Essential job functions include layout and cutting materials, operating cutting machine, staging materials for jobs per work order, using oven to prepare vinyl prior to stapling, stapling vinyl to pad using staple gun, assembling pieces following established procedures, attaching backing and punching holes, batching finished pads by work order and placing in appropriate area, boxing pads as needed, making labels using computer and label maker, checking work for quality, and operating vinyl picker and pallet jack. Non-essential job functions include performing other duties as assigned. Requirements include ability to operate staple gun, heat gun, vinyl cutter and hand tools, ability to operate computer to run label maker, and effective communication in English. Physical requirements include lifting up to 5 lbs frequently, 20 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs rarely, walking, standing, bending, twisting/turning, reaching overhead and grasping tools as necessary, and operating vinyl picker and pallet jack.
