*Job Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver (Heavy Haul) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of heavy-duty trucks, including but not limited to low boy RGN, & Hopper bottom. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and professionalism while transporting goods across designated routes.

*Responsibilities*

* Operate heavy haul trucks, including tractor-trailers ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
* Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, ensuring proper handling of materials.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
* Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
* Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.

*Requirements*

* Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for heavy haul operations.
* Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with manual transmission vehicles and various trailer types such as low boy RGN and hopper bottoms.
* Familiarity with freight handling procedures and the ability to load and unload cargo safely.
* Strong knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation skills to optimize delivery efficiency.
* Ability to perform basic maintenance on trucks and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues as they arise.
* Excellent time management skills with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.10 - $29.30 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
