PRIDE Health is seeking a travel Medical Technologist for a travel job in Auburn, New York.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostic Testing:
Perform routine and STAT laboratory tests in areas such as General, Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, and Micro Setup/STAT testing.
Quality & Safety:
Ensure accurate patient identification, specimen processing, and data entry in compliance with laboratory protocols.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and troubleshoot technical issues as necessary.
Operational Support:
Assist with quality control and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize workflow and support patient care.
Administrative Duties:
Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records.
Follow facility policies and regulatory guidelines throughout all procedures.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
Licensure & Certification:
New York State Medical Technologist license (or equivalent) required.
Certification from a recognized national certifying agency (e.g., ASCP or CLS) is required.
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of hospital laboratory experience.
Proficiency across multiple lab disciplines, including Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, and Micro Setup/STAT testing.
Skills:
Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Additional Information:

Location: Auburn, NY 13021
Schedule: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (flexible to 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) with rotating weekends
Contract Length: 13 weeks
