Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a variable shift Emergency Department assignment requiring a ME or compact RN license and strong emergency care skills.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Variable shift schedule with possibilities including 7:00 am–7:30 pm, 11:00 am–11:30 pm, 1:00 pm–1:30 am, and 7:00 pm–7:30 am
• Three 12-hour shifts per week for a total of 36 hours
• No on-call responsibilities
• May be assigned charge duties depending on census
• Provide emergency care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment
• Enjoy working with a supportive ED team
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• No COVID-19 vaccination requirement specified

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active ME or compact RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of recent ED nursing experience required
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Charge experience and preceptor experience preferred but not required
