We're seeking to fill our Territory Manager position to manage 4 locations in the Knoxville North area. Were looking someone who can create and maintain a positive and productive work atmosphere in our locations, while providing hands-on coaching of our team members to drive the Company's success. The Territory Manager will report directly to our Sales Director for the Central Region.

The successful candidate will need:

  • Come from a Sales, Retail, Customer Service or a Food Service background
  • Manage teams remotely or coach team based on daily goal attainment

The Territory Manager is responsible for creating the overall vision for each store in their territory, establishing benchmarks for store management teams and upholding policies and programs that will help those teams achieve their sales goals. The Territory Manager will also be charged with collaborating with our corporate and operations teams to help their territory to meet or exceed P&L metrics and goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Build a team of Retail Store Managers with excellent skills to deliver the exceptional customer experience
  • Able to coach RSMs to be top performers, hold their team accountable for Company policies, procedures and job responsibilities
  • P & L analysis and cross market performance gaps and opportunity areas
  • Translate strategies into measurable expectations for managers and team
  • Attain and exceed market area goals by coaching and developing store managers in execution of goals and metrics
  • Responsible for territory P&L and cross-market performance gaps and opportunity areas
  • Ensures complete and timely communication of company objectives, policies, and initiatives throughout their territory.
  • Demonstrate and lead Store Managers to increase effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity through continually improving; time management, communication, leadership development, selling skills, sales analysis, problem solving skills
  • Responsible for territory daily operations, upcoming store events and promotions
  • Manage performance "scorecards," tracking areas; operational compliance, team dynamics, store appearance/safety, customer satisfaction, and improvement areas
  • Manage territory performance, identity and improve performance, operation, compliance gaps
  • Plans local events and promotions consistent with T-Mobile's marketing initiatives and branding
  • Responsible for audit compliance based according to standards
  • Ensures effective and efficient store operations
  • Adhere and promote Verge Mobile policies, processes and procedures
  • Must be available to meet the needs of retail business hours
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED and 4 years of retail experience or Associates or bachelors degree and 3 years of retail experience, required
  • Bachelors degree and 2 years of retail experience, preferred
  • Must live within 25 miles commuting distance to the Knoxville North Territory
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Multi unit store management experience, preferred
  • Strong track record of individual and team financial performance
  • Operational and financial management experience
  • Wireless industry experience
  • Able to oversee varied shifts, may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to successfully complete and pass a background check
  • Valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record and willingness to travel throughout assigned region
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Reporting: Position reports to the Sales Director

Travel/Schedule: Must reliably commute to store locations. This is not a work from home position. Must work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays during peak hours of performance to ensure daily oversight.
