This Surgery Scheduler Position Features:

Immediate need for an experienced Surgery Scheduler at this world-renowned medical organization. In this role you will support several providers with the following tasks:

-Coordinate surgeries as well as pre and post-op appointments
-Collect necessary medical records from referring physicians
-Coordinated pre-op testing including labs, imaging, EKGs, etc,
-Ensure that prior authorizations are in place and authorizations are submitted
-Collect all necessary signatures in surgery packets
-Deliver pre-surgery instructions to patients
-Other duties as needed

Requirements:
2 years of recent Surgery/Procedure scheduling experience
2 years of insurance authorization experience
Experience with an EMR system required (Epic preferred)
