SR. CISCO VOIP NETWORK ENGINEER to work
ONSITE 3 Days Per Week supporting our War-fighter customer who upholds America's status as the "Land of the Free" every day, at work, or at play.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Plan, implement, and operate network services/systems, to include hardware and virtual environments
- Provide research, development, test and evaluation, analysis, acquisition support, in-service engineering, logistics, and integration of surface and undersea vehicles and associated systems
REQUIREMENTS - 10 years of networking experience to include experience with VoIP, unified communications manager, server side, handsets, upgrades and configurations
- 3 years of experience working with Cisco products in Ethernet environment: Call Manager, Call Manager Express, Calabrio, VCS Expressway, Contact Center Enterprise, Unity VM, and Routers & Switches
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with hardware and software products, including Cisco Routers & Switches, Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) firewalls, and COMSEC equipment
- Experience troubleshooting circuits; carrying out hardware upgrades, routing policies deployment, change management ownership, working on firewall policies
- Provide support to preventative maintenance programs, disaster & recovery plans, and redundancy plans
- Possess strong organizational, communication, and managerial skills through relevant work experience
- Initiate and manage a project from inception to completion through examples of projects completed including defining size, scope and complexity through various factors such as cost vs budget, impact on requiring agency, time required vs deadline
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED CERTIFICATION(s)- IAT II or IAT III Certification in one of the following: (CISSP, CASP, Cisco CCNP-Voice Security, CCNA-Voice, CISA, Cisco Operating System, GCED, GCIH)
SECURITY CLEARANCE - Active Top Secret Security Clearance
EDUCATION - Associate's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or Software Engineering from an accredited College or University
