Summary: Provide all nail services for guests, manicures, pedicures, fills, tips and paraffin treatments.

Essential Job Functions: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform a professional manicure, pedicure and paraffin treatment.
• Apply linen and paper wraps
• Apply nail tips
• Sterilize and sanitize all tools, equipment and polish caddy
• Maintain a clean work area
• Inform reception desk of extra charges
• Maintain manicure / pedicure tools in good repair, replace when necessary
• Clean and maintain paraffin machine, refill morning and night
• Report any supplies that need reordering to salon manager
• Refill towels
• Empty garbage
• Clean work station at end of shift
• Treat each guest and staff member with respect and professionalism
• Assist in special duties and assignments as required
• Candidate must have the ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education and Experience: High School diploma, Guest service knowledge required. Florida Sate Cosmetology License. One year experience required.

Language Skills: Excellent service skills including etiquette and ability to work with the public. Knowledge of communication skills, organization skills, ability to deal with diverse clientele. Ability to effectively communicate with all departments, regular communication with Director of Spa, all Spa Managers, and with all Spa and Salon employees. Ability to maintain a high level of service and discipline with all spa departments.

Reasoning Ability : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization may exist. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time. The employee might be required to lift water bottles and bags of dirty/clean towels weighing about 50 lbs. The employee is required regularly to use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is frequently required to talk or listen.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional spa environment.
