We are in search of an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Senior Property Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a thriving, fast-paced, and innovative company in the Accounting and Finance industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Commercial Real Estate Accounting and must be familiar with Yardi, GL, Year End Close, and Shopping Center. The role requires at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Senior Property Accountant, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing all accounting operations related to our commercial real estate properties, including but not limited to, the preparation of financial statements, budget analysis, and financial forecasting.

2. Utilizing Yardi property management software to manage all accounting processes efficiently and accurately.

3. Managing the General Ledger (GL) and ensuring all financial transactions are correctly recorded, reconciled, and reported.

4. Leading the year-end close process, including the preparation of accurate and timely year-end financial reports.

5. Handling all accounting matters related to shopping centers, including lease administration, tenant billing, and CAM reconciliations.

6. Collaborating with the finance team to develop and implement financial strategies and policies.

7. Liaising with auditors to ensure the proper conduct of annual audits.

8. Providing financial advice and strategic input to the senior management team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Senior Property Accountant position must possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Commercial Real Estate industry.

3. Extensive experience with Yardi property management software, General Ledger (GL) management, year-end close process, and Shopping Center accounting.

4. Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting rules.

5. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.

6. Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

7. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.

8. A proactive problem-solver with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.

9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

10. A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
