Senior Product Manager

San Diego Studio (Onsite, hybrid or remote from The US)

As the Senior Product Manager for MLB The Show Mobile, you will partner with Design, Production, Marketing, Data & Analytics, and many other disciplines to drive new product features and optimize existing ones to make MLB The Show Mobile an amazing game!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for product performance growth, influence key stakeholders, and drive initiatives to a successful outcome
  • Partner with design and production to define and prioritize live ops events, in-game purchasing experiences, and the retention and monetization strategy
  • Prioritize roadmaps in collaboration with creative and product leadership to ensure we are delivering the right features to players
  • Partner with the analytics team to deeply understand our players and game, translating the insights into actionable and impactful changes
  • Define the success metrics and business reporting, interpreting data and translating it into a cohesive and clear product strategy
  • Use data to effectively communicate and educate the team on the performance of the game and opportunities for growth
  • Perform industry analysis and competitive research, analyze industry trends, and implement best practices to improve the product and our development culture

Required Skills:

  • Proven leadership and track record in product management or business performance in the games industry
  • Strong business acumen with strategic and analytical capabilities, using data to drive strategy and business decisions
  • Good understanding of statistics and strong quantitative skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with multiple teams including marketing, game development, team leadership, etc
  • Vision and ability to see the bigger picture and translate it into innovative initiatives
  • Expertise and a wealth of knowledge of industry trends and the competitor landscape
  • Passionate player of mobile games, sports games, and F2P games
  • Experience working in mobile and/or F2P games

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each roles base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

$153,300 - $229,900 USD
