Position Type: Part Time - Monday-Friday

About Us:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, loving, patient, and reliable individual who has a passion for working with young children and supporting a Montessori school community. Centennial Montessori is a year-round school with operating hours of 7:30AM-5:30PM serving children ages Birth-6 years old.

Your Role:
As an administrative assistant, you will support the Director with various office duties such as answering phones, scheduling tours, maintaining compliance of child and staff files, and supporting classroom ratios as needed. The position is Monday-Friday, with ideal work hours between 8:153:30. There are times where the shift may need to shift earlier or later in the day to support the needs of the school.

Responsibilities:

• Provide office and/or classroom support when the Director is not available.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professionalism when assisting with administrative duties.
• Maintain organizational systems within the office and school in accordance with regulatory agencies.
• Communicate with parents and staff in a respectful and courteous manner.
• Willing to work in a team environment; share ideas, be open to others' ideas, and demonstrate flexibility and willingness to compromise.

Requirements:

• Must meet and maintain all Colorado state requirements for Early Childhood Teacher (Level 2 or higher).
• 1+ year working with children ages 6 weeks-6 years; preferably in a Montessori setting but not required.
• Must be organized and able to support office systems (staff files, supplies, staff onboarding, record keeping). Experience with Excel, Google Drive, and Brightwheel.
• Must be flexible to adjust schedules to support the Directors absence and assist classrooms when needed.

Hourly Range Offered: $21-$22/hour (based on experience and education). This is a part-time, year-round position.
