Sales Support/Estimating Clerk, $20+/hour - Muskegon, MI

Are you someone who thrives on organization and enjoys sales? A local company is seeking a 1st shift Sales Support/Estimating Clerk to assist the Sales Manager with tasks related to quoting and job planning.

Qualifications:

• Ability to clearly communicate with both internal and external customers
• Maintain accurate pricing, ensuring efficient workflow, and facilitating clear communication across departments
• Experience preparing job quotes and cost specifications, and organizing records for projects
• Experience managing sourcing and supplier consolidation programs

Skills:

• Strong negotiating and project management skills
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
• Excellent time management and the ability to schedule and communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams
• Clear and confident communication in team environments

As a Procurement Specialist, not only will you be responsible for all purchasing activities that support manufacturing, but you’ll also lead efforts in supplier management, cost savings, inventory reduction, and sourcing strategy. You’ll be a key player in helping transform operations while working directly with a global supplier base. This job, depending on your work ethic, could be a short-term or a long-term fit.
