NO PREVIOUS CANNABIS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ( but preferred)
We’re scaling and need a sales-driven leader to get us there.
MrGreen DC is a licensed medical cannabis dispensaries in Washington, DC. We’re not looking for someone to just “keep the store running.” We want a Sales Manager who lives for numbers, coaching, and building high-performing sales teams.
What You’ll Do
Run the floor during peak hours (12PM–8PM) and make sure reps sell, not just serve .
Lead daily huddles, set contests, and keep the team sharp.
Track KPIs: ticket size, upsell %, loyalty signups, outbound touches. Publish leaderboards weekly.
Coach the team through role-plays and product training.
Training: weekly role-plays (objections, bundles, cross-sell, loyalty pitch); product quizzes
Scheduling: ensure 3 reps staffed during peak; align hours with per-hour revenue goals
Push average ticket.
Report weekly sales numbers to ownership ( Reporting : Sunday night KPI recap + plan for the week; owner brief 1x/week)
Who You Are
Proven retail sales manager (cannabis, luxury retail, or fast-paced sales environment).
You know how to hold people accountable without losing buy-in.
Floor presence. You can sell, demo, and model the script in front of the team.
Math-driven. Talks in rates, trends, and funnels: ATP, upsell %, customers/hour, show/close.
Competitive, entrepreneurial, and driven by results.
Data-obsessed — you love scoreboards and hitting targets.
Willing to work evenings + weekends (where the action is).
Pay & Perks
$60K~75K base salary (DOE) + Commissions
Revenue-based bonuses
Staff discounts + future growth path into multi-location Director of Sales role.
Schedule
5-6 days/week, ~45–60 hrs total
Core hours: 12PM–8PM
Flex check-ins with morning openers + Sunday reporting
