Job Summary and Qualifications

The Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse is responsible for coordinating a comprehensive program for the nursing care, education and rehabilitation of patients requiring wound, ostomy and/or incontinence care. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today!

• Collaborate with the nursing and medical staff to provide/instruct the following in patient care for the following patients: altered patterns of bowel or urinary elimination, fistulas, draining wounds, and altered skin integrity
• Provide outpatient consultation services
• Collaborate with the education department to provide nursing staff with education related to current concepts of wound, ostomy, continence care

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate from a school of nursing
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care facility including the care of wound ostomy
• continence patients
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada
• Wound Ostomy and Continence Certification required or equivalent certification
• Current BLS
