Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department at Willamette Valley Medical Center summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department at Willamette Valley Medical Center provides direct patient care to ensure the well-being of patients in a Level IV Trauma Center. This role requires the utilization of specialized nursing skills and innovative care strategies, contributing to the health and recovery of individuals in critical situations. Candidates must hold a current RN license and have completed relevant training, with preference given to those with prior experience.

Wage scale: $54.47 – $75.08 per hour

Department/Unit Summary

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. 

  • 21 Beds
  • Level IV Trauma Center
  • 4:1 Ratio
  • 12 Hour Shifts

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor’s degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • TNCC 
  • 1 year of experience preferred
