As a Sales Executive on the New Construction team, you will have an opportunity to make an immediate impact by helping us expand on one of the fast growing market places within Zillow Group.

  • Drive the new business sales cycle including identifying potential clients, resolving
  • prospect’s needs, negotiating and closing
  • Prospect or new accounts through cold calling (50 – 80 dials/day)
  • Facilitate positive client experiences through your expertise of system & process
  • Effectively navigate within builder organizations to identify and engage decision makers
  • Handle inquiries from potential prospects with top-level professionalism and skill
  • Meet and exceed assigned monthly sales quota
  • Localize your knowledge of real estate trends, market conditions and advertising tendencies based on market assigned upon hire
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to prospect, log activity, manage your calendar and opportunities.
  • Ability to navigate multiple browsers and programs including product demos, Salesforce, sales dashboards and Microsoft Office Suite

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $55,400.00 - $88,600.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role are eligible for incentive compensation and equity awards. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are
  • 5+ years’ experience in an inside sales metric driven environment
  • Preferred industry background — proactively identify and address challenges faced by builders, understand their objections, uncover advertising and marketing goals, and present tailored solutions to build trust and secure partnerships.
  • Ability to demonstrate creative thinking to explore avenues for generating new business opportunities.
  • Outstanding people skills, and strong in-person, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong sales skills, including prospecting, forecasting, pitching, presenting, and closing
  • Proven track record of achieving measurable goals
  • Ability to create targeted proposals customized to the specific needs of the client
  • Contract negotiation experience
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to support and motivate others
  • Ability to travel: attend in-market meetings and events, network with stakeholders and ask for their business.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and proven ability to meet deadlines
  • You demonstrate exceptional sales integrity by conducting business with honesty, transparency, and ethical approaches
  • Proficiency in adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and collaborating seamlessly and efficiently with partner teams.
  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics is preferred.
  • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and internet proficiency a must
  • B.S. or B.A. degree
