Job Description

Our client, a leader in Beauty and Personal Care Retail Distribution, is seeking an Equipment Operator to join their team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be part of the Distribution Department supporting the Warehouse and Logistics Teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent mechanical aptitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Equipment Operator
Location: Chambersburg, PA
Pay Range:  
Hours: 12 PM - 8 PM Sunday-Thursday

What’s the Job?

1. Operating standup forklifts, reach trucks, order selectors, and powered pallet jacks.
2. Performing daily checks on equipment and reporting any issues.
3. Safely transporting products within the distribution center.
4. Accurately picking and packing orders using RF scanners.
5. Adhering to all safety guidelines and standards.

What’s Needed?

1. Must be 18 years of age or older.
2. 1-2 years of experience as a certified equipment operator preferred.
3. Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
4. Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
5. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
