Job Description

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Radiation Therapist I in Detroit, Michigan. This role involves operating x-ray therapy equipment to simulate and treat patients with malignancies and pain under general supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Document treatment procedures and verify accuracy in patient charts.
• Perform daily quality assurance checks on equipment.
• Conduct calculations and basic dosimetry as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy Technology or equivalent.
• Current ARRT registration or eligibility; must pass the registry exam within one year of hire.
• Ability to operate linear accelerators and simulators with minimal supervision.

This is a full-time position with a schedule of 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, totaling 80 hours per pay period. McLaren Health Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
