Python Developer

Contract: Jersey city, New Jersey, US

Salary Range: 60.00 - 65.00 | Per Hour

Responsibilities:

• Develop object- oriented software solutions using Python and contribute to grid computing and database development on a proprietary platform.
• Design and build RESTful web services and the interface layer connecting them to data- grid- centric UIs based on Angular.
• Create tools to facilitate data transfer from NoSQL data stores to relational databases, such as Oracle Exadata.
• Collaborate in a global Agile team environment, participating in the full software development lifecycle.
• Work independently to solve complex problems and deliver high- quality code in a fast- paced, distributed team setting.

Must- Haves:

• 7+ years of experience with Object- Oriented Programming ( OOP) using Python.
• Strong background in working with databases ( relational or NoSQL).
• Experience with data storage systems, file systems, or similar infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global teams and time zones.
• Excellent problem- solving skills and ownership mindset.

Nice- to- Haves:

• Experience with Oracle databases and Exadata.
• Familiarity with the Angular framework for front- end development.
• Background in financial services or banking.
• Experience with data reconciliation and financial reporting systems.
