RE 1313 is looking for a Full Charge Property Accountant to join our team!

We are a small, privately held company with no third-party accounts.

This provides employment stability, which is very rare in third-party management companies.

General Accounting Duties:

• Perform full-cycle property accounting for a diverse portfolio of primarily commercial properties, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage accounts receivables, property billbacks, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income, profit & loss, and cash flow statements.
• Record and prepare journal entries, management fees, and admin fees to prepare financial reporting.
• Experienced in CAM Reconciliations
• Coordinate with staff to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Provide accounting for several other entities (loan company, retail operation, land sales, etc.)
• Coordinate tax prep with CPA's
• Ensure compliance with all financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Collaborate with staff to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Keen attention to detail.

Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must have Property Management Accounting Experience!
• 2-4 years of commercial real estate accounting experience, preferably with a third-party management company
• Experience with real estate management/accounting software, Rent Manager, Yardi, AppFolio, MRI, etc.
• Rent Manager experience is strongly preferred
