Key Responsibilities as a Property Accountant:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements for a diverse portfolio of properties, including commercial and multifamily properties (mostly third-party managed with the opportunity to handle a few internally-owned assets as well).
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis to provide insights into financial performance.
• Manage month-end close processes for the property accounting team.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and prepare journal entries.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

What We're Looking For in a Property Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of accounting experience in the real estate industry.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Experience with MRI is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information:

• Location: On-site in Denver, CO
• Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000
