What the Property Accountant will do…

• The Property Accountant will perform full-cycle accounting for a mixed commercial/retail/multi-family portfolio.
• Conduct monthly close procedures and ensure deadlines are met.
• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts and perform variance analysis.
• The Property Accountant will also help in the annual budget preparation, prepare schedules for audits and prepare financial reports.
• Work on fixed assets and ensure timely capitalization and depreciation.

What the company needs in a Property Accountant:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2 to 4 years of experience.
• Experience with multi-family or commercial real estate accounting.
• Good communication skills with a desire to learn.
