Job Details

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for estimating the cost of construction projects and ensuring that they are completed within budget. The following are the key responsibilities for this role:

  • Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing information and ensure that bids are competitive
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project schedules and ensure that estimates are consistent with project requirements
  • Prepare and submit bids and proposals to clients, including detailed cost breakdowns and other relevant information
  • Monitor and track project costs and ensure that they remain within budget
  • Conduct cost analysis and recommend cost-saving measures when appropriate
  • Participate in project meetings and provide ongoing support to project teams as needed
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in project management for construction projects in the federal sector
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations
  • Proficiency with estimating software (e.g. Bluebeam, PlanSwift)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
