About the job

We are seeking a Design Project Manager to oversee our interior design projects. In this position, you will manage a team of designers as they draft the design, following the project through to completion. You will set a budget, approve purchase orders for furniture or supplies, and give final approval to all designs and space planning. Your designers will do most of the drafting, however, you should still be skilled with computer-aided design (Canva specifically). While a degree in interior design is beneficial, we prefer candidates with some experience in interior design.

The Project Manager owns their BnB Turnkey projects from start to finish. They are at the center of all client-facing and internal communication and are the ultimate task master for their projects. The Project Manager utilizes BnB Turnkey’s tool, processes, procedures, and resources to keep their projects on budget and schedule. A successful Project Manager is in daily contact with project stakeholders, always keeps an eye on project timelines, and is comfortable holding 

partners and vendors accountable.

Primary Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of design/construction projects
• Follow a budget for each project
• Delegate tasks to designers
• Oversee the proposal and quoting process
• Work closely with contractors to estimate the project
• Manage contractors to ensure projects stay on budget and schedule
• Approve purchase orders and final drafts
• Manage the team as they set up each STR
• Lead client calls until the rental is up and live
• Other duties as assigned

Experience and background

• 2+ years of experience in project management.
• 1+ years of experience in the design, construction, or vacation rental industries.
• 2+ years of experience in a client-facing role.
• Experience working in Google Workspace or similar software.
• Experience with project management software.
• Familiar with Canva or similar software.
• Relevant work experience and education may be accepted in lieu of specific experience and background.
• High school diploma or GED certificate (required)

• You are a self-starter who can independently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Possess a team-first mentality with an upbeat and optimistic attitude.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically without restrictions up to 25% of the year.

Physical requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours and/or extended hours as needed to accommodate client and project needs as well as team members and projects in multiple time zones.
• Ability to stand, flex, crouch, and lift up to 25lbs on occasion.
