The Virtuosity! program is a private music lesson program at Summit Christian Academy, serving over 100 SCA students each year. Students are given lesson and performance opportunities and encouraged to develop their talents and use them to glorify the Lord. We offer half-hour private lessons in piano, voice, guitar, percussion/drum set, violin, viola, harp, clarinet, flute, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and euphonium. Lessons are given before, during, and after school hours, depending on teacher availability and student schedules. We also have two worship teams who receive weekly lessons and experiences leading worship in chapel services.
We are currently in need of private piano and guitar teachers. Pay varies depending on level of earned degree. Hours are flexible, but lesson days/times need to be consistent once the lesson time is established. We have limited teaching space, so teacher availability also needs to match available teaching spaces each year. Please contact Joy Parke, Virtuosity!
