To maintain a safe, clean environment in the Mill Casino•Hotel's Pool, Fitness Area, and Arcade.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Promote a clean, safe, healthy and friendly work environment for employees and guests; report and direct safety issues to the Safety Committee.
- Provides guests with instructions on the safe and proper usage of all equipment in the health and fitness area and maintains the high standards of cleanliness and safety of the Hotel by utilizing good verbal, interpersonal and customer relations skills.
- Effectively enforces safety guidelines & pool rules to all patrons.
- Maneuver up to 50 pounds of equipment.
- Work independently.
- Assists housekeeping with shampooing carpets, and cleaning storage rooms when needed.
- Assists in the management of ongoing operations of inspecting the pool, deck, and equipment
- Regulates inventory and monitors supplies including janitorial supplies by letting the housekeeping supervisor know when they are needed.
- Promotes relationships with public including greeting and answering questions.
- Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS (objective educational or technical training required; skills; and years of experience):
- Must pass and remain in compliance with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug free work place policies
- Have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Subject to drug screen, criminal background and credit check.
- Be available all days and hours.
- Be at least 15 years old.

): Ability to work weekends, holidays and evening hours as business demands. While performing duties of this position, employee is required to stand for extended periods, and frequently walk, and use hands to; finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally sit. Ability to manage stress appropriately, make decisions under pressure, manage anger, fear, hostility and violence of others appropriately. The casino work environment may expose you to second hand smoke on a regular basis.
