Job Description:

The Physician Recruiter is responsible for the recruitment of physicians and mid-level providers. Assists with successful on-boarding and facilitates the development of a strategic provider recruitment plan. Assists with provider staff retention through practice enhancement and development activities. Administers physician contracts and process payments to providers in accordance to contract.

Required Skills:

1. Leadership ability, communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with physicians, mid-level providers, management, staff and external agencies.



2. Excellent analytical skills, negotiation skills and knowledge of reimbursement methodologies.



3. Knowledge and understanding of healthcare industry and government reimbursement methodologies including Medicare and Medicaid.



4. Ability to adapt and use information system tools available to fulfill job requirements.



5. Solid organizational and contract management skills.



6. Knowledge of Visas and Stark Law Physician Contracting

Required Experience:

• Three years of experience conducting physician recruitment at a high level (Director, C-Suite) required.
• Experience with Employment Contract Implementation preferred.

License/Registration/Certification:

• None

Education and Training:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or health related field required. Master’s Degree preferred.
