Key Responsibilities

  • Medication Preparation and Dispensing: Ensure accurate preparation and dispensing of medications.
  • Administrative and Clerical Support: Provide essential support to keep our pharmacy running smoothly.
  • Medication Stocking and Delivery: Manage medication inventory and assist with automated medication equipment.
  • Patient Care Functions: Engage with patients to enhance their experience and care.
  • Sterile Compounding: Perform sterile compounding with precision and care.

Qualifications

Education

A high school diploma or GED is required.

Experience

At least 24 months of hospital pharmacy experience (or equivalent as determined by pharmacy leadership) is necessary, exceeding the minimum requirements of Level I.

Licensure/Certification

Must obtain an OK permit within 90 days of hire, and PTCB CPhT certification is required within 90 days of hire (subject to termination).

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

All Level I and II competencies are essential for this role.
