Location: Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY

Position Type: Part-Time (Monday to Friday, 1 PM-6 PM)

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience


A loving and dynamic polyamorous family in Greenpoint, Brooklyn is seeking a caring, reliable, and proactive Part-Time Nanny to assist with their 8-year-old daughter. The ideal candidate will have experience working with school-aged children, a warm personality, and a talent for fostering an enriching and supportive environment.


Responsibilities

• School Pick-Up: Pick up the child from her school in Williamsburg promptly at 3 PM.
• After-School Activities: Escort her to scheduled after-school activities and playdates, ensuring her safety and supervision at all times.
• Homework Help: Provide guidance and support with homework, encouraging her learning and independence.
• Additional Support (Optional): For candidates interested in extra hours, the family is open to adding responsibilities such as:
  • Cooking: Preparing simple, healthy meals or snacks.
  • Household Assistance: Offering light organizational support at one of the family's two residences in Greenpoint.

Requirements

• Experience: Prior experience as a nanny or childcare provider for school-aged children.
• Transportation Savvy: Familiarity with navigating Brooklyn (Williamsburg/Greenpoint area) safely and efficiently.
• Reliability: Punctual and dependable, with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Homework Support: Comfortable assisting with elementary school-level homework.
• Cooking Skills (Optional): An interest in preparing simple, nutritious meals is a plus.
• Flexibility: Open to occasional adjustments in schedule if needed.
• Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to travel with the family is a plus

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 1 PM-6 PM (25 hours per week). Additional hours are available for candidates interested in cooking or household assistance.
