Job Description

Syndeo Staffing has an immediate opening for a Water Meter Readers for the City of Wichita. These duties will include digging, filling holes, replacing rebar & meter boxes, and assisting the crew with any other manual labor tasks necessary to complete the project.

Responsibilities:

• Read water meters on an assigned route and record readings.
• Inspect water meters and makes notes of leaks or repairs needed.
• Repair and/or install water meters or water meter components as required.
• Provide information or refer customers to the appropriate office for assistance as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous customer service and/or or route/delivery driver experience preferred.
• Active drivers license with an insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background and MVR).

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Pay: $13.77/hour
