**Carpenter****Job Description**We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team for projects primarily located at the Mayo Clinic. Responsibilities include tenant improvement projects, building temporary walls, metal stud framing, drywall patching, overseeing subcontractors, changing millwork in rooms, building barriers, and hanging temporary plastic sheets to maintain clean and safe hospital spaces. The role also involves maintaining a clean work site, conducting safety audits, enforcing safety rules, and ensuring proper use of PPE. You will keep a task list and review it periodically, follow and review project schedules with subcontractors, and assist in the initial review of drawings. Site setup responsibilities include ensuring proper equipment is on-site, including temporary toilets, dumpsters, data vaults, drawing tables, and more.**Hard Skills**+ Carpentry+ Drywall+ Framing**Job Type**This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).**Work Site**This is a fully on-site position in Phoenix, Arizona.**Work Environment**Mayo Clinic Hospital with a job trailer on-site. Most work will be done within the hospital itself. Projects range from $30K to $10M in size, with 8-10 different jobs ongoing at one time. Typical hours are 5:30am - 1:30pm, with start times usually between 5am-6am. Rarely, there may be overnight shifts from 6:30pm to 2:30am, in which case you will not work the following day.
