Job Description Job Description We are seeking a skilled and reliable Small Engine Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of small engines, including those found in lawn mowers, chainsaws, generators, snow blowers, and other outdoor power equipment. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair small engine equipment including gas and some diesel-powered machines Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, blade sharpening, and tune-ups Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues Inspect equipment to ensure repairs meet safety and performance standards Keep accurate service records and documentation Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Communicate effectively with customers about repair needs, timeframes, and costs Qualifications: ~ High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in small engine repair is a plus ~2+ years of experience working with small engines ~ Familiarity with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures ~ Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and diagrams ~ Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills ~ Ability to work independently or as part of a team Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move equipment up to 75 lbs. Stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods Work in various weather conditions as needed Benefits: Competitive pay Opportunities for training and advancement Pay : $23/hour - $33/hour based on experience Hours : M-F 7:30am to 5:30pm Saturday 8:00am to 12:00pm
