Courier And Mailroom - Office Services Associate

IST Management is seeking a Courier and Mailroom - Office Services Associate for the Miami team! The Courier and Mailroom - Office Services Associate will be primarily responsible for providing courier services utilizing company vehicle, in addition to providing on-site support in the mailroom when not completing courier runs. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in courier services or customer service, are willing to train, are self-starters, and are ready to grow in their office services career! Must have a valid driver's license in order to be eligible to drive on behalf of IST and client.

Hourly Compensation: $17.00-17.00 USD

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:30PM (hour lunch break included daily)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Courier services- perform courier services utilizing company vehicle to deliver mail and packages throughout site and to different locations (ie post office, courthouse, etc.), completing errands as needed to support client needs
• Mailroom Services- assist on-site in mailroom to scan, sort, deliver mail and packages between courier assignments
• Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude; Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment
• Pick-up and deliver mail, parcels, copy jobs and faxes to customers; Lift large bundles of mail, overnight packages and shipments of paper
• Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines
• Take direction from supervisor or site manager; Participate in cross-training; Adhere to all safety procedures
• Perform other tasks as assigned to uphold client and site needs

Qualifications

Qualifications Include:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Customer Service/ Hospitality/ Courier background preferred
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills; Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
• Competency in performing multiple functional tasks; Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
• A valid drivers license and willingness to submit to MVR (Motor vehicle records screen regarding driving history/eligibility)
• Access to reliable transportation to and from work; Lifting up to 55 pounds
