LanceSoft is seeking a CMA for a local contract job in Blaine, Minnesota.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: CMA
• Discipline: CMA
• Duration: 25 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days
• Employment Type: Local Contract

• Shift DAYS - 80 Hours Per 2 Week Pay Period
• Provide telephone support
• Facilitate communication between customers and providers
• Assist with prescription refills
• Perform x-ray duties as assigned if individual has passed the x-ray operator exam
• Perform phlebotomy duties
• Perform clinic laboratory tests

Education:

• High School graduate or equivalent (i.e. GED)- Required
• Graduate of an ABHES or CAAHEP accredited Medical Assistant program -  Required

Experience

• Previous experience in a clinical setting - Required
• Passed x-ray operator’s examination or willing to take exam according to individual clinic needs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks in an efficient manner.
• Knowledge of and skill in using computer software applications.
• Travel using personal vehicle to various local worksites is required. Only applicable for Occupational Medicine.

Required Licensure OR Certification:

• Current BLS Certification - Required
• Certified Medical Assistant Certification - Preferred
