The Partners Group currently has an outstanding opportunity for a technology and customer-focused professional to join our IT team as an IT Helpdesk and Collaboration Specialist based in our Renton, WA office.

How you will have an impact at TPG

The primary role of the IT Helpdesk and Collaboration Specialist is to provide technical support for the company’s collaboration platforms, like SharePoint and Teams. This individual will also handle IT helpdesk tasks, ultimately contributing to the organization’s overall success.

What a typical day in this role looks like:

  • Administer, maintain, and support company collaboration systems like SharePoint and Office365
  • Provide first-level helpdesk support, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Manage user access, permissions, and troubleshoot collaboration platform issues
  • Support IT governance and compliance within collaboration platforms
  • Assist with user training on IT systems and develop documentation for common tasks
  • Perform routine IT system maintenance and assist with IT projects and new initiatives

Key details

Location: Southport Office in Renton, WA; primarily in-office with hybrid remote opportunities (1-2 days/week). Open to considering Portland, OR office location.

Hours: 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri; some evening or weekend hours required

Salary Range: $28.85 – 33.65 hourly, non-exempt (DOE)

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time, ability to communicate verbally and in writing, and ability to handle long periods of screen time.

Travel: Minimal overnight travel as business needs may require (such as visiting other office locations)

Requirements:

What you’ll bring to the table

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; at minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar role.
  • Technical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams. Hands-on experience managing and configuring SharePoint Online Libraries, sites and lists is highly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills required; proven ability to explain technical information to non-technical users clearly.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • A high level of accountability, organization, and attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Familiarity with IT governance policies and processes.
  • Comfortable with change, embracing of new technologies, and a desire to drive innovation in collaboration platforms.
  • Prior experience in providing user training and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Interest in learning and implementing best practices for collaboration systems.
  • Strong self-sufficiency prioritization skills; able to work independently, as well as in team settings.
