Industrial Electrician

Position Overview
We are a state of the art facility in the oil and gas sector that is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. The primary objective of this position is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical machinery and equipment in an industrial setting. 

We are looking for candidates that are Junior to Lead or Supervisor Electricians. 

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
• Work with high voltage systems 
• Perform regular maintenance on electrical equipment, including using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools
• Ensure compliance with NEC and other safety regulations
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment, including HMI, PLC, and other electronic control systems (preferred)

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or in a similar role
• Familiarity with NEC and other safety regulations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Experience using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Knowledge of high voltage systems and lockout/tagout procedures
• Knowledge of HMI and PLC systems (preferred)
