Hydraulic Mechanical Technician – Orange County area, CA Full‑Time | On‑site | Monday–Friday, 7am‑4pm or 8am‑5pm. Why Join Us Competitive base salary + per diem Comprehensive Health Benefits 401(k) + match PTO Holiday pay Key Responsibilities Install, disassemble, assemble, test, and troubleshoot hydro‑mechanical equipment. Interpret system schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Analyze and optimize performance of mechanical governing and actuation systems. Maintain shop instruments and follow repair policies in line with manufacturer standards. Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers to provide technical expertise and solutions. Support field installations, calibrations, and on‑site troubleshooting as needed. Qualifications HS diploma or GED required; trade certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical systems, engines, or transmissions preferred. Strong working knowledge of internal combustion engines, steam and gas turbines. Basic understanding of engine/turbine controls and power generation systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office and use of precision tools and diagnostic instruments. Must have a valid driver’s license, passport, and TWIC card. Able to work independently and collaboratively with a positive, team‑oriented attitude. Additional Requirements Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work extended hours in a shop environment.
