PURPOSE: To perform all duties, as needed for the Human Resources Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Daily time and attendance
- Prepare daily discipline forms for supervisors
- Employee engagement activities
- HR filing documents
- Training as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education: - Bachelor's degree coupled with1 year HR experience.
Experience: - Ability to read and interpret documents such as shop rules and CBA.
- Excellent skills in Excel, Word, Power Point and multiple HR Systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively to HR Team.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills coupled with the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: - Interpersonal skills with self awareness and emotional intelligence.
- Dependable and self-motivated individual with good attendance / disciplinary and safety record who can work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Detail orientated individual with excellent thinking and trouble-shooting skills; able to make decisions based on information and analysis.
- Some math and computer skills are essential to perform job duties.
