Summary

  • We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Casino Housekeeper to join our team. As a Casino Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe interior/exterior environment for our guests and staff in the Casino, Annex, Tribal Administration offices and surrounding areas. You will be expected to perform a variety of cleaning duties, including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and polishing.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain all designated interior/exterior areas.
  • Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and readily available.
  • Remove trash and debris from all areas of the casino.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Wear proper protective equipment (when necessary) and protective gloves when cleaning and sanitizing areas.
  • Use an EPA approved cleaning/sanitizing solution of Peroxide multi-surface cleaner to clean and sanitize all high touch surfaces.
  • Provide the utmost level of GOLDEN service to all individuals he/she interacts with, providing service and information when possible.
  • Clean all slot machines, walls and walkway corridors including stairs and outdoor areas, as well as rooftop cleaning when necessary.
  • Clean all bathrooms located within the buildings throughout the day using only approved cleaning solutions.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies located within his/her assigned area(s) as instructed.
  • Transport full bags of trash from depository locations to compactor.
  • Report maintenance needs to the Lead Housekeeper or Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
  • Report emergency repairs or situations to Housekeeping leadership and/or DPS.
  • Make sure all situations with guests and Team members are resolved in a proper and efficient manner.
Requirements:

Qualifications/Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 6 months of previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
