Front-End Engineer - Institutional DeFi Liquidity Layer

Location: Remote - US - Would consider South America & Canada (Preference for onsite/hybrid in LA)

We are an on-chain financial infrastructure company building the liquidity layer for the tokenized economy, backed by leading investors. Our flagship protocol connects tokenized assets and high-quality stablecoins to enable 24/7, real-time, compliant capital movement across blockchains. We are seeking a Front-End Engineer to design and build the user experiences that power institutional DeFi, working with production partners including major financial institutions.

You will lead the development of user interfaces for our protocol's web and mobile products and dashboards, spanning swaps, liquidity management, and analytics. This role requires translating complex blockchain and financial interactions into beautiful, intuitive, high-performance interfaces for sophisticated financial users. You'll join a small, high-velocity team, shipping code daily and defining the future of on-chain institutional finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build: Develop and maintain front-end applications for swap functionality, protocol dashboards, partner portals, and integrations.
• Design Collaboration: Implement clean, responsive, and intuitive UI/UX for institutional users managing liquidity, balances, and transactions.
• Integrate: Collaborate with backend and smart contract engineers to surface real-time blockchain data via ABIs, APIs, and SDKs.
• Optimize: Ensure high performance and security across devices and browsers; optimize data-heavy interfaces for simplicity, speed, and reliability.
• Systematize: Help define our design system, component library , and internal UI standards for future product lines.
• Collaborate: Partner cross-functionally with product, BD, and compliance teams to translate user needs into production-ready features.

• 3–6+ years of professional experience in front-end engineering.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript , and modern front-end tooling (Vite, Next.js, or similar).
• Experience integrating ABIs, APIs, SDKs, or blockchain data .
• Prior experience in fintech or DeFi is a significant plus .

Technical Skills:

• Solid understanding of state management, async data fetching, and client-side caching .
• Comfort working with UI component libraries and design systems .
• Familiarity with authentication flows, role-based access control , and secure session handling.
• Exposure to smart contracts, wallet integrations, or blockchain infrastructure .

Mindset:

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for shipped products.
• Maniacal attention to detail and excellent ability to receive and internalize feedback.
• Passion for clean, composable code and elegant user experiences.
• Curiosity about the intersection of finance and decentralized systems.
• Comfortable in a startup environment—iterative, collaborative, and fast-paced.

• Impact: Directly influence institutional finance ; your code will power live integrations across stablecoins, tokenized funds, and RWAs (Real-World Assets).
• Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Equity/Tokens (significant upside and ownership).
