As a Food Scientist , you will collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and cross-functional departments to develop, refine, and bring new pet products to market. Your contributions will directly impact the quality, compliance, and innovation of products, ensuring we continue to lead the industry in safe, healthy, and innovative pet solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Vendors to develop and refine product concepts from idea to execution.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Regulatory teams to define product specifications and ensure successful market launch.
• Review packaging and artwork for compliance with regulatory requirements, including weight, ingredients, guaranteed analysis, claims, and relevant guidelines.
• Support the development of formulas and perform ingredient analysis to maintain product quality and safety.
• Lead analytical testing processes and manage both in-house and third-party lab verifications to ensure high product standards.
• Track and analyze industry trends in both the pet sector and broader consumer markets to drive informed product decisions.
• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance existing products and develop new solutions, fostering continued company growth.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest FDA, USDA, and AAFCO regulations, ensuring compliance and maintaining leadership in the industry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Science or a related discipline.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment, particularly within the pet industry, is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food regulations and compliance standards.
• Skilled in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with excellent project management abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.

Salary : 60k-70k/yr.
