Knowledge, skills and experience required:

• 3+ years of Food Safety Manager experience in food production facility preferred
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems for the production of donuts and bread.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO, BRC, SQF).
• Conduct regular inspections and tests of raw materials, production processes, and finished products.
• Lead and train the QA team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Schedule and oversee the work of QA supervisors and technicians.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities, test results, and inspection findings.
• Prepare and present regular quality reports to management.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Work with production teams to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
• Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits.
• Ensure that all quality-related documentation and procedures are up to date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and deliver training programs on quality assurance and food safety for production staff.
• PCQI and SQF certification required
