We're looking for a motivated Florist Material Handler to join our team and help us keep operations running smoothly.
salary: $31,200 - $33,300 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
+ Receive and store floral materials: Unload floral supplies, flowers, and other materials from delivery trucks, inspect items for quality and quantity, and store them in designated areas.
+ Inventory management: Track and monitor stock levels of floral supplies, ensuring accurate inventory records and timely reordering of necessary materials.
+ Material handling: Prepare floral arrangements by order request
+ Quality control: Ensure the quality of floral materials is maintained throughout handling, storage, and transportation.
The essential functions of this role include:
+ working in a smoke free environment
+ wearing steel toe shoes
+ working in a non-temperature controlled environment
+ manual lifting up to 20lbs
+ standing for 8 hours at one time
+ working up to 1 hrs of overtime per week
+ working weekends
